The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation works to fight the most common cause of death among children aged 1 to 14. Every day, around 50 children — that’s two school classes — die of cancer. The disease has a devastating impact on the children affected and on their loved ones.
As the single biggest contributor to child cancer research in Sweden, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation has long been at the centre of the fight against childhood cancer. The foundation plays a key role in combatting the disease and is almost exclusively funded by private and corporate donations.
