Avalon specializes in acting as an extended team for our clients, taking full responsibility for specific areas while providing a flexible and scalable solution. A prime example is our collaboration with a global leader in water solutions, where we have contributed to greater efficiency and improved operations through two key roles: managing tool development and CE-marked service tools.

Avalon operates as an integrated part of the customer’s tooling department— a function they have chosen to outsource as much as possible. We handle the design and production of critical components such as lathe jaws, assembly tools, marking templates,

drilling fixtures, turning fixtures, and pressure fixtures for ongoing production. For CE-marked lifting tools, we take responsibility for design, strength calculations, risk analysis, and CE certification, ensuring that production runs smoothly and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Avalon has taken over the entire process for the customer’s CE-marked service tools. We manage everything from manufacturing and testing (both functional and structural) to CE approval and delivery. Previously, the customer handled this internally, but today, they simply place an order with Avalon. From there, we take full ownership of the process, effectively acting as their external engineering department.
