Avalon’s project organisation works with projects on both an operational and a strategic level. The group comprises very senior personnel who are experts in their respective fields of technology.

Our PMO provides, owns and develops the models, processes and tools our project managers and other project members need to manage and implement effective projects and ensure that they adhere to the set schedule and budget.

The PMO is responsible for all implementation-related work that falls within our role as a development partner, including budget management, KPI monitoring (planned value/earned value, etc.).

The Avalon Innovation Model is an iterative, user-oriented product development model that aims to transform assumptions into facts. We thereby minimise risk and uncertainty in development projects and maximise the return on investment.

AIM is generic, scalable and flexible in order to support each individual project in the best possible way. The working methods we apply to conduct activities and deliver clear deliverables at all project stages ensure efficiency which, together with our project management methodology guarantees the quality of the deliverables.

Aided by a specialist team from Avalon, the next generation indoor climate was developed through a turnkey assignment including 13 innovative and technically advanced products, from concept to final tool design.

Sundström Safety decided to develop the next generation of respiratory protection with external help.

The design and development work was carried out in accordance with our tried-and-tested innovation process – which helped to weave a number of identified key functions into the design.

Over the years, we’ve been trusted to offer our expertise to TC TECH, primarily in design, construction, technical documentation and project management, where the teams work closely together. The result is the TCP150 system.

TC TECH’s vision is to establish the company’s system as the new standard for the production of advanced polymer products in micro and nanotechnology, with excellent performance at a high rate of production and with low energy consumption in consumer electronics, medical technology and the automotive industry. The main purpose is therefore to reduce energy consumption when our screens are lit.

GS2 is a cost-effective operating table for ambulatory surgery, with a focus on increasing user and patient safety while offering maximum flexibility.

Avalon has developed all of the mechanics in the table and been responsible for large parts of the documentation pertaining to risk, requirements and testing, as well as for manuals. In addition to developing the product itself, Avalon designed assembly aids/production jigs, load test equipment for acceptance tests and packaging for the product, including accessories.

Avalon Innovation is developing urban transport systems of the future. Since 2021, we’ve been a development partner to Kookiejar of Sweden and helped pursue technological progress in a brand new ecosystem for autonomous fossil-free flight in a network of vertiports.

KookieJar’s vision is to build a network of vertiports everywhere from shopping centres, rooftops and arenas to car parks. Some vertiports can also be built at existing airports, and Norrköping airport will be the first.

Avalon fick i uppdrag att utveckla två helt nya produkter för automatisk, sömlös uppladdning av data, utan behov av aktivt ingripande. Resultatet blev två temperaturloggrar som möter helt olika krav i leveranskedjan men som båda kommunicerar via den då helt nya tekniken Bluetooth 5.

I projektet har Avalons värde legat i att effektivt strukturera upp behov och krav på produkterna, leda det multidisciplinära teamet, utveckla kärnfunktionaliteten och bidra med innovativa designlösningar. Avalon har snabbt kunnat bistå med den specialistkompetens som behövts under projektets gång.

Together with Avalon Innovation, Tjeders has created the basis for a scalable, user-friendly and accessible online platform that links the alarm systems and installation programs of various suppliers. The underlying technology and data analysis are powerful in that the user receives only the information they need in their day-to-day work. By seeing only necessary information, the stresses of everyday life become a little less demanding.
