Hi, Jonas. Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m part of creating the future’s IoT solution for connected products at Electrolux. We combine innovation and development daily, creating the next generation of apps for products such as robot vacuums and air purifiers.

What’s your best app memory?

Launching the first version of the LINDEX app in 2017. The iPhone app went straight into the top spot in App Store and after just a few weeks, half of all of the company’s online sales took place via the apps. It’s a great feeling, knowing that the work you do makes such a difference to users!

What trends are you seeing in app development right now?

I believe that AI, IoT and AR will be important in the next few years. We will build smart, self-teaching apps capable of handling connected devices and creating new types of user experiences!

What’s a normal day like for you as an app developer?

As an app developer, my day begins with me looking at the day’s tasks. After that, my day generally revolves around solving any development challenges in the best possible way!

What trends are you seeing in app development right now?

Right now, I’m seeing a major trend towards digitalisation of basic things such as tickets, documentation management and other simple processes.
