Avalon Innovation has appointed Emil Hillung as Head of Strategic Growth – Software & Cloud. The date for access is 1 September 2020. The role is completely new in the company and entails a strategic responsibility for our investment in system development, digitization and cloud services.
The fact that Avalon Innovation is strategically strengthening our position in software and cloud services is a result of great demand from our customers in Sweden and Denmark. The market for cloud services is growing steadily and Avalon has a strong focus on projects where hardware and software interact in the smart services and systems of the future, both with existing and new customers. With this role, Avalon Innovation has opened up the possibility for further recruitment in a number of roles and competencies and the growth is taking place all over the country, starting in Blekinge, Skåne, Stockholm and Uppsala.
Emil Hillung has made an exciting journey within the company. In 2014, he started at Avalon and has in his role as Business Manager been involved in building a strong team in Stockholm with broad expertise in everything from embedded systems to system development and UX. With his presence in the customers ‘real needs and sharp matches with our consultants’ competence and driving forces, Emil has created strong and long-term customer relationships with everything from startups to large well-known companies. In his new role, he will continue to be responsible for business development around Stockholm.
