Sabina Johansson has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer at Avalon Innovation. The date for accession is 1 October 2020. Sabina Johansson succeeds Emelie Gustafsson, who will remain in an advisory role at Group level. Since 2017, Sabina Johansson has worked as a controller and IT manager at Avalon Innovation.

I am really looking forward to continuing to develop the company together with our entire team. My position as CFO will involve the development of key figures to strengthen the strategic and financial operations. To be able to combine the more traditional areas of responsibility such as company reporting and results management with a strategic role, where I will be involved in developing the company’s strategies together with the leaders and link these with the implementation to be able to deliver on the defined goals, will be really developing. Our strategies will be ineffective if they are not anchored in the entire organization and with increased prioritization, clarity and follow-up, we will have a better focus on the operational work ”. says Sabina Johansson.

In the role of CEO, it is absolutely crucial to work closely with the company’s CFO, who is an invaluable advisor. Sabina will focus on transforming data into insight and using the insights in creating new strategies together with management. These strategies must be developed on the basis of external monitoring, smart planning, budget work, financial results management and result in the development of our business ability. In practice, this means that Sabina must distinguish between value-creating projects and routines from resource-intensive and irrelevant projects and routines that do not contribute to the company’s strategic agenda and provide the organization with crucial advice. I can not think of a better person for the role of CFO at Avalon Innovation. Sabina is sharp, straight, honest and hugely efficient. In the coming years, we will continue to develop the company and ensure a sustainable increase in sales and an accelerating transfer of earnings,” says Helene Högberg, CEO of Avalon Innovation.
