Hi Thomas, tell us about yourself!

I’ve been working as a consultant ever since I graduated with a degree in machine technology because I love working in varied organisations and with different types of products, and because I want to always be learning new things. I had worked as a consultant for other companies before I interviewed for Avalon. I felt right away during the interview that this was the right consultancy company for me. I’ve been at Avalon for almost 17 years now, and I’ve worked on around ten different projects for various companies during that time and I really do love going to work every day.

Our clients call us and ask specifically for you. Why is that do you think?

Haha! You’ll have to ask them. But if I were to guess I’d say it’s got something to do with my humble approach and attitude. I’m very unpretentious in my work and I don’t get hung up on things but adapt to the team and plough on. I’m also really passionate about problem-solving, so I would like to think that’s something I’m good at. Hopefully the clients feel the same.

How would you describe our corporate culture?

The first things that come to mind are openness and a good atmosphere. We’re a happy bunch who enjoy each other’s company! We’re incredibly transparent, which I appreciate. I feel involved with what’s going on in the company even when I’m away working on my assignment.

What’s your take on the future?

I’d like to stay here for as long as I can!
